STABILITRAK HELPS YOU STAY THE COURSE Every Malibu
is equipped with the StabiliTrak® Electronic Stability
Control System to help assist you with directional
control of the vehicle in difficult driving conditions.
Sensors continually monitor the difference between
the path being steered and the direction the vehicle is
actually traveling. If StabiliTrak detects a difference, it
selectively applies brake pressure to the appropriate
wheel to help you get the vehicle back on track.
SUPERIOR SMOOTHNESS Malibu moves with solid
confidence, thanks to fine-tuned suspension and
chassis engineering. The stiff body structure, wide
stance and fully independent suspension deliver
nimble, poised handling.
MANEUVER WITH PRECISION Electric rack-and-pinion
steering contributes to the crisp response and
excellent on-center feel. The system determines the
level of power assistance needed, making parking
easier and high-speed steering firmer.
LONG-LASTING STOPPING POWER The confidence of a
4-wheel antilock disc brake system is standard on
every Malibu. Innovative Duralife™ brake rotors have
been hardened with a special patented process to
provide reliable stopping power, resulting in rotors
that can last up to twice as long as conventional
rotors. The integrated brake system is designed to
help you maintain control by preventing wheel lockup
and assists with stopping or decreasing vehicle speed.
