You can open the tailgate window by
pressing the tailgate window release
button located in the driver’s door trim.
The tailgate window can be also opened
by pressing the tailgate window button
on the remote key.

Tailgate Window Release Button
After opening, hold the handle on the
tailgate window and lift it.
To close tailgate window, push it down
so it latches securely. It locks automati-
cally.
Caution
Do not operate the tailgate window
release button while the vehicle is
moving.
Do not operate the vehicle with the
tailgate window open.
Caution
When opening or closing the tailgate,
be sure to check it is free from
obstructions.
The tailgate can be locked or unlocked
by central door locking system. See
Central Locking System on page 1-6.
Make sure your hands and any other
body parts, as well as those of other
persons, are completely away from the
tailgate closure area.
