How you feel behind the wheel is
everything in a Camaro, and driving
a convertible is no different. That’s
why Chevy retooled the body and
chassis, adding four types of braces
from a strut tower-to-tower to a
pair of underbody V braces. Rigidity
goes up. Exhilaration goes way
up, too, as the performance of the
convertible practically mimics that
of the Coupe. But our engineers didn’t
stop there. Noise and vibration, long
considered unwelcome passengers,
go way down, thanks to even more
reinforcements in key areas like the
A-pillar and windshield header.
