Step 1 - NETGEAR Router
Configuration (For:
Types I, II & III) (Router
Initialization)
The first time you log into the
router it will display a greeting
screen, and a prompt For “Smart
Setup Wizard”
f Uncheck: Do Not Display This
Message Again
f Click: Close Window
f Check: No to Setup Wizard
f Click: Next

II & III) (Router Navigation)
f Click: Backup Settings
Step 1 - NETGEAR Router
Configuration (For: Types I,
II & III) (Restore Settings)
f Click: Browse
f Select the applicable
configuration file that agrees
with your NETGEAR router
version. The router version is
identified on the label on the
underside of the router.
f Click: Restore
f Wait for the progress bar to
indicate completion of the
restoration.
