Getting Started
Thanks for choosing the BASE lutea from BASE. If you’d like your new phone to
live a long and fruitful life, please read this guide carefully and keep it for future
reference. You never know when you might need it.
And don’t worry if the pictures we use to demonstrate your phone’s functions look
a little different from what you see on its screen. It’s the functions they show that
matter.
Get in touch with your phone
Another thing you’ll notice is that we talk about “tapping” a lot. That’s because
your BASE lutea has a touch screen, which means a simple tap with your fi nger can
both select and open a fi le. Indeed, you can “slide” switches on the screen, “hold”
fi les until a list of shortcuts pops up, casually “fl ick” from page to page, “drag”
items into the bin with a well-aimed index fi nger, or even “pinch” web pages or
images to zoom in or zoom out. It’s a joy to use.
