14.1 FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN LEDs
The LEDs on the FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN 7170 indicate the fol-
lowing conditions:
LED Meaning
Power/DSL on FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN 7170 ready for operation; power sup-
ply is connected and the DSL line is ready for operation
flashing The device is connected to the power mains, but the con-
nection to DSL has been lost
Internet on a telephone connection to the Internet is active
flashing there are messages in your mailbox (this function must be
supported by your Internet telephony provider)
Fixed Line on a telephone connection to the fixed-line network is active
flashing there are messages in your mailbox (this function must be
supported by your Internet telephony provider)
WLAN on the WLAN function is enabled
flashing the WLAN function is being enabled or disabled
INFO on
a telephone connection between two Internet telepho-
ny subscribers is active; the call is free of charge (this
feature must be supported by your Internet telephony
provider)
signals an event specified by the user
the Stick & Surf procedure has been concluded
flashing the value specified for the online meter has been rea-
ched
firmware is being updated
signals an event specified by the user
