2 Slide and lift the memory-module cover off the base cover.

NOTE: If the memory module accidentally slips and falls in the
computer base, remove the base cover to retrieve the memory
module. See "Removing the Base Cover”.
3 Use your fingertips to spread apart the securing clips on each end of the
memory-module slot until the memory module pops up.
