1. Ensure the tray selection lever is in the down (custom) position before proceeding (Figure 1 and Figure 2).

2. From the printer control panel, press the button. Press the W arrow button until the PAPER HANDLING menu
appears, and then press the button again.
3. Press the W arrow button to select the desired paper tray (2 or 3) size, and then press the button.
4. Use the UP/DOWN arrow buttons to select CUSTOM, and then press the button.
5. Use the UP/DOWN arrow buttons to select INCHES, and then press the button.
6. Use the numeric keypad to enter the X-DIMENSION value (7.17 for forward IRDs, 7.80 for return IRDs), and
then press the button.
7. Use the numeric keypad to enter the Y-DIMENSION value (8.50 for both forward and return IRDs), and then
press the button.
Verify that the tray
selection lever is in
the down position.
