These are the symbols that will navigate
through these operating instructions.
Display language
To change the display language

L If you select a language you cannot read,
reset the handset to its default settings:

Setting dialling mode
(tone/pulse)
Change the dialling mode depending on
your telephone line service.
“1” (Tone): Select when you have a touch
tone service.
“2” (Pulse): Select when you have pulse
service.

3 Enter base unit PIN (default: “0000”).
L If you changed PIN, enter it (page 12).

5 Select the desired setting by pressing {1}
for tone dialling mode or {2} for pulse
dialling mode.

Setting the date and time
Important:
L Confirm that the AC adaptor is connected.

3 Enter the current hour and minute (24-
hour time entry).
L If you make a mistake, press {C}.
Digits will be cleared from the right.

5 Enter the current day, month and year.
