Connect the AC adaptor plug to the unit

Fasten the cord by hooking it.
Connect the AC adaptor to the power

utlet.
Connect the telephone line cord to the

nit until you hear a click.
Fasten the cord by hooking it.
Connect the telephone line cord to the

elephone line jack until you hear a click.
A DSL/ADSL filter (not supplied) is

equired if you have a DSL/ADSL service.
Note:
R Use only the supplied Panasonic AC
adaptor PNLV226E.
R Use only the supplied telephone line cord.
Battery installation

SE ONLY rechargeable Ni-MH batteries
AAA (R03) size (A).
R Do NOT use Alkaline/Manganese/Ni-Cd
batteries.
R C
onfirm correct polarities (
, ).

ollow the directions on the display to set
up the unit.
Battery charging

harge for about 7 hours.
R Confirm “Charging” is displayed (A).
R When the batteries are fully charged,
“Fully charged” is displayed.

he AC adaptor must remain connected at
all times. (It is normal for the adaptor to feel
warm during use.)
