Recalibration of the sensor
controls
Automatic recalibration
To ensure trouble free operation, the
sensor controls
–
recalibrate when the appliance is first
connected to the mains electricity
supply and after any interruption to
the power supply.
During automatic recalibration the
safety lock indicator lamp is lit and
the cooktop can not be switched on.
– adjust themselves constantly to the
surrounding conditions.
If the automatic recalibration was not
successful, the cooking zone displays
front left and front right will show an A,
rear left an F. The cooking zone display
rear right and the Timer/Memory
display will show numbers.
If this is the case, recalibration will have
to be carried out manually.
Manual recalibration
^
Make sure that there is no direct light
(from the sun or from an artificial
source) falling onto the cooktop. The
area surrounding the cooktop must
not be too dark, nor should the
relationship between light and shade
be constantly changing.
^
Make sure that there is nothing
covering the sensor controls or the
cooktop. Take any pans off the
cooktop and wipe away any food
deposits.
^ Interrupt the power supply to the
cooktop for approx. 1 minute.
Reconnect the cooktop to the electricity
supply. The electronic unit will reset the
sensitivity levels of the sensor controls.
