LOADING YOUR DISHWASHER
Utensil load
• Load cookie sheets, cake pans and other
large items at sides and back. Loading
such Kerns in front may keep water spray
from reaching detergent dispenser and
silverware basket.
NOTE:
• Do not load glasses, cups or plastic Kerns
in the bottom rack.
• When lower rack is removed, replace wKh
bumpers in front.
Fold down divider
A fold down divider at the back of the rack
can be lowered to make room for deep
bowls, roasters, etc.

Loading the silverware basket
A WARNING
Personal Injury Hazard
Load sharp Kerns (knives, forks,
skewers, etc.), with the point down.
Failure to do so could cause personal
injury.
> Load the silverware basket while K is in the
door or take the basket out for loading on a
counter or table.
NOTE: The basket can also be removed
for easy unloading. Always unload or
remove the basket before unloading the
racks to avoid spilling water droplets on the
silverware.
