Shutting Down (power off your computer)
This procedure is for shutting down the computer without using the standby or hibernation
function ([^ ’itoSaF' “Standby/Hibemation Functions”).

Save important data and close each application
Select [Start] - [Shut Down]
Select [start] - [Turn Off Computer]

Select [Shut down], then select [OK]
Select [Turn Off]
Your computer will power off automatically.
# Restarting your computer (without shutting down)
Select [Restart], then select [OK].
Select [Restart].
Do not do the following during the shutdown/restart procedure.
• Connecting or disconnecting the AC adaptor.
• Touching the power switch.
• Performing any keyboard, touch pad or external mouse operations.
• Closing the display.
Xnote>
To shut down using the keyboard,
Press ( ), C_yJ, and select [Shut down] with (T) (T), then press Center ).
Press ( ^ I, CUJ, and select [Turn Off] with (X), then press [ Enter 1.
• To quickly resume computer operation after shutting down,
The standby or hibernation function is available (c^ “Standby/Hibemation
Functions”).
