impressive array of reflective memory products designed to fit
into existing military and aerospace environments. We offer the
choice between multi-mode for short fiber runs or single-node
for spanning long distances between nodes for the fiber optic
cable interconnect. Our newly refreshed software tools ease
migration from older reflective memory products to newer
ones that are fuller-featured and offer higher performance.
Our latest offering is the PCIE-5565 PIORC low-profile PCIe
reflective memory node card. This high-speed, low-latency,
deterministic interface allows data to be shared between as
many as 256 independent nodes at up to 170 MB/s. Each board
may be configured with 128 or 256 MB of onboard SDRAM. The
local SDRAM provides fast Read access times to stored data,
while writes are stored in local SDRAM and broadcast over a
high-speed fiber optic data path to other nodes.
No I/O overhead is required, as the transfer of data between
nodes is software-transparent. Transmit and receive FIFOs
buffer data during peak data rates, thus optimizing the
host computer and bus performance to maintain high data
throughput. PCIE-5565PIORC is RoHS compliant, and has
improved PIO read performance and firmware that can be
upgraded in the field.
