SAfETY:
TECHNOLOGY
When road conditions are not at their best, the standard ESC
helps the driver maintain vehicle directional stability and
limits oversteer or understeer. ESC includes All-Speed Traction
Control, Brake Assist, Electronic Roll Mitigation and Trailer
Sway Control.
ELECTRONIC STABILITY
CONTROL (ESC)
6
REAR CROSS-PATH DETECTION
7
When in Reverse, rear sensors detect if
cross-traffic approaches the vehicle and
warns the driver with an audible chime.
Included with Blind-Spot Monitoring.
Advanced multistage driver and front-
passenger air bags, supplemental front-
seat side air bags, rear-seat-mounted
pelvic side air bags, side-curtain air
bags, and driver and front-passenger
knee blocker air bags. Standard.
10 AIR BAGS

PARKVIEW
®
REAR
BACK-UP CAMERA
7
This system displays an accurate visual
reference of what is behind your vehicle
when you are in Reverse. Available.
This standard system anticipates situations when the driver
may initiate an emergency brake stop and uses the ESC
6
pump to precharge the brake system in order to decrease
the time required for full brake application.
READY ALERT
BRAKING
When in Reverse, these sensors
detect the presence of objects
in the back-up pathway and
provide an audible and visual
warning. Available.
PARK-SENSE
®
REAR
PARK ASSIST
7
The standard four-wheel disc antilock brakes sense and
prevent wheel lockup, offering improved steering control
under extreme braking and/or slippery conditions.
ANTILOCK BRAKE
SYSTEM (ABS)
This system automatically switches
headlamps from high to low beam
and back again when oncoming
headlamps or forward-lighting
elements are sensed. Nighttime
driving is also assisted by providing
the maximum amount of light possible
for any driving scenario. Available.
This standard system makes it easier for
emergency personnel to see and reach
occupants in the event of an accident by
turning on interior lighting, flashing
hazard lamps and unlocking doors after
air bag deployment. It also shuts off the
flow of fuel to the engine.
ENHANCED ACCIDENT
RESPONSE SYSTEM (EARS)
While driving forward, the BSM
continually monitors blind zones
on either side of the vehicle. When
an object is detected, an indicator
light illuminates in the appropriate
exterior mirror, and an audible
notification sounds. Available.

MONITORING (BSM)
