Efficient performance
in a new light.
Progressive strength is not just visible on the Audi A6.
You can feel it too. This is thanks to its weight-reducing
aluminium hybrid construction plus the powerful but
highly efficient FSI®, TFSI® and TDI engines. These are
characterised by excellent acceleration and pulling
power.
The optional quattro with sports differential delivers the
power to the road. In front-wheel drive models, ESC
with electronic axle-differential lock provides increased
safety through targeted braking relevant to the driving
situation, with improved traction and increased
dynamics.
Optional full-LED headlights contribute to efficiency
by requiring less energy than conventional lighting
systems. LED technology not only provides a range
of lighting options, it also gives the vehicle a unique
appearance.
The 7-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission provides
a high level of driving enjoyment. Lower drag loss and
earlier gear changes at low revs result in increased
efficiency.
The driver information system is equipped with an
efficiency program which helps to reduce fuel
consumption. A start-stop system switches off the
engine when the vehicle is stationary and an innovative
thermal management system shortens the engine
warm-up period. These are measures that benefit the
environment.
