NOTE!
Use only dishwasher detergent! Liquid hand-washing detergent
must not be used as the foam that forms prevents the dishwash-
er from operating effectively.
Dishwasher tablets
Halve the tablet if it is difficult to close the dispenser lid. There is
a risk that the detergent will not be released properly if the lid is
tight and cannot open correctly.
NOTE!
Dishwasher tablets are not recommended for short programs
(less than 75 minutes). Use powder or liquid dishwasher deter-
gent instead.
3-in-1/All-in-one detergent
Read through the directions for these products carefully. If any-
thing is unclear, contact the detergent manufacturer.
On/Left-on mode
Press and hold the On/Left-on mode button until the display lights
up.
Program selection
Press the Program selector one or more times until the desired
program symbol appears on the display.
Time program
The program adapts to the specified running time or finish time.
With this program, it is important to choose a time suited to how
dirty the dishes are.
Lightly soiled dishes0:30-1:15
Normally soiled dishes1:30-2:00
Heavily soiled dishes2:15-3:00

Sanitation wash
A program that is able to deal with most household germs and
particularly dirty dishware. This program uses a high final rinse
temperature for good drying results and to kill germs.
NB: Do not load dishware that cannot withstand high wash or
rinse temperatures.
This program can be used for grill racks and drip trays. Activate
the high temperature option and select the Long dry option for
improved washing and drying results.
NOTE!
Remember to brush and wipe particularly greasy grill racks
and drip trays before loading them into the dishwasher. Other-
wise the stainless steel filters will become clogged, which will
adversely affect the performance of your dishwasher. For infor-
mation how to clean the filters, refer to the Care and mainte-
nance instructions section.
Normal wash
This program is recommended for daily, regular, or typical use
to completely wash a full load of normally soiled dishes, such as
plates, serving dishes, cups, and glasses. No options are recom-
mended.
Heavy wash
Program for very dirty dishes, such as pans, casserole dishes,
and oven dishes. If these dishes do not completely fill the dish-
washer, you can add plates and other dishes that can withstand
a Heavy wash to fill out the load.
Quick wash
This program is used for glasses and porcelain that is lightly
soiled, such as coffee cups.
Hygiene wash
This program is recommended for baby bottles and cutting
boards when additional sanitation is required. The temperature
is high in the main and final rinse.
Delicate wash
If the dishes are lightly soiled, you can select Delicate wash. This
program is intended for dishes that have just been used and do
not require a powerful program, such as wine glasses, cocktail
glasses, rocks glasses, and beer mugs.
This program can be used for fragile dishes. Select Short dry if
you want to be especially cautious. Refer to the section for
Fragile dishes in the chapter Loading the dishwasher.
Eco wash
This program is most effective in terms of combined energy and
water consumption.
Rinse & Hold
Use to rinse dishes while you wait for the dishwasher to become
fully loaded.
