WHEN SHOULD THE FILTER BE
REMOVED?
Check/clean the filter regularly, at least 2 or
3 times per year.
When the appliance does not drain or spin
properly.
If the pump is blocked by a foreign body
(button, coin, safety pin, ...).
IMPORTANT:
Make sure that the water has
cooled before draining.
REMOVING THE FOREIGN BODY TRAP
1.
Switch off the appliance by pressing the
“ON/OFF” button. Indicator light will go out.
2.
Open the filter cover with the coloured insert
from the detergent dispenser.
3.
Place a tub or container beneath it.
4.
Slowly turn the filter anticlockwise until its
handle is vertical without unscrewing it
completely.
5.
Wait until all the water has drained off.
6.
Now unscrew the filter completely and
remove it.
7.
Remove any foreign material from the filter.
8.
Check that the pump rotor moves freely.
9.
Insert the filter and screw it in clockwise until it
locks (until the grip is horizontal).
10.
Close the cover.
11.
Pour 0.5 l water into the detergent dispenser
to reactivate the Eco system.
WHEN SHOULD THE RESIDUAL WATER
BE DRAINED?
When transporting (moving) the machine.
If there is danger of freezing in the installation
room.
In this case the machine should be drained
after every wash.
DRAINING RESIDUAL WATER
The drain hose is located behind the plinth at the
bottom of the appliance.
Before draining unplug the appliance.
1.
Remove carefully the plinth. This may be
done using the narrow edge of the coloured
insert from the detergent dispenser.
2.
Grasp the cap and pull out together with the
hose. Place a low tub or container beneath it.
Pull off cap from end of hose.
3.
Drain the residual water into the container
until the flow stops. Then close the drain
hose and replace.
4.
Before using the machine again pour approx.
1 litre of water into the detergent dispenser to
reactivate the Eco system.
