SETTING UP YOUR WASHER FOR THE FIRST TIME
Setting up your washer for the first time
You will set your preferences for the fist time. Each option can be reset later in the Setting screen.
[Step 1.]
Turn the washing machine on, start to set the date and time.
Ř After setting the Date and Time, press the Next button.
[Step 2.]
The Auto Detergent / Auto Softener screen appears.
Ř The default options is Amount: Std, Density: Normal.
Ř You can change the Amount and Density, then press the Next
button.
1. If the function of Automatic Fabric Softener is not used,
there will be no place to store fabric softener.
2. Use liquid detergent only. Do not use powdered
detergent, otherwise it will damage the automatic
dispenser.
3. The automatic detergent function is deactivate
automatically in Wool/Lingerie and Active wear cycle even
if you have set the Automatic Detergent ON. You can
set the Auto Detergent /Softener options of cycles in the
Settings screen.
4. You have to set the Auto Detergent / Softener in the
Settings screen before using the function.
5. Take out the detergent compartment before cleaning
the compartment. You should clean the detergent
compartment when changing the detergent.
6. After set the Auto Detergent / Softener, you can add
detergent manually into compartment from feeding inlet.
[Step 3.]
The Auto Update screen appears.
Ř Software will update automatically if the function is set.
Ř Press the Close button, return to the Normal wash cycle
screen.
Run the automatic update after completing the initial setup, you can access each step and change
your preferences any time using the Settings control.
