02 WASHING A LOAD OF LAUNDRY
Precautions when connecting the drain hose
1. Connect the drain hose firmly.
Ř Failing to do so may result in water leaking from the connecting
part.
2. Make sure that the drain hose is not twisted or pressed on by a
heavy object.
Ř Failing to do so may result in the water not draining.
3. When you use the drain extension hose, connect it horizontally so
that it is not over an object such as a high doorsill.
4. Make sure the top of the drain hose is above the water.
Ř Failing to do so may result in the water not draining.
Take care not to fold the end of the drain hose .
5. When draining water through the standpipe, the height of the standpipe must be lower than
the drain outlet of the washing machine.
Do not let the drain hose hang lower than the height of the standpipe.
