INFORMATION CODES
When your washer malfunctions, you may see an information code on the display. If that happens, please
check this table and try the suggested solution before calling Customer Service.
CODE SYMBOL PROBLEM CHECK
Will not start. - Make sure the water source faucets are on.
- Make sure the washer is plugged in.
- Make sure the power is on.
- Make sure there is enough water.
Door open. - Close the door.
Does not spin. - Check that the laundry is spread out evenly in the
washer.
- Check that the washer is balanced and on a sturdy flat
surface.
Does not drain. - Check if the drain hose is frozen.
- Check if the drain hose is clogged.
- If the water does not drain within 15 minutes, a buzzer
will sound, and the remaining time indicator will show
“5E”.
Has no water.
- Turn the faucets on fully.
- Has the water supply to the residence been cut off?
- Check if the water supply hose or hose connection is
clogged.
- Check if the water faucet is frozen.
- If water supply is not finished within 1 hour or water level
is not changed within 4 minutes, a buzzer will sound, and
the remaining time indicator will show “4E”.
Overflows(water).
- Restart after spinning.
- If the error sign is still displayed, call a customer service
agent.
