LIFTGATE RELEASE

To open the liftgate, unlock the liftgate using one of

the following methods:

  •Pressthe

button

on the key fob twice.

  •Pushthepowerdoorlockswitchtothe

unlock position.

  •Insertthekeyintothedriver’sdoorkeycylinderand

turning it to the rear of the vehicle twice.

Then push the liftgate release switch

just above

the license plate and pull the liftgate up.

REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM

To lock the vehicle, press the button

the key fob.

To unlock the vehicle, perform the

following procedures:

  •Pressthe

button

on the key fob to unlock

the driver’s side door.

  •Pressthe

button

againwithin5seconds;

all other doors and the liftgate will unlock.

The key fob can also be used to activate the panic

alarm by pressing and holding the

button

for more than 1 second. Once activated, the panic

alarm and headlights will stay on for a period of time.
