3. Remove the memory module being replaced by opening the retaining clips as
shown.
4. Insert the notched end 2 of the memory module into the socket 1. Press the
memory module firmly, and pivot the memory module until it snaps into place.
Make sure that the memory module is firmly fixed in the connector and does
not move easily.
5. Go to Chapter 4, “Completing the parts replacement,” on page 27.
Replacing the AC power adapter

This section provides instructions on how to replace the AC power adapter.
1. Turn off the computer and disconnect the AC power cord from the electrical
outlet.
2. Locate the power adapter connector. See “Locating connectors on the rear of
your computer” on page 6.
