Drive Belt
Inspect regularly for tension and wear. Check pul-
leys to ensure that they are properly aligned. See
Pulley/Drive belt sections for proper tension and
pulley alignment procedures.
Lubrication
The only parts on this machine that require peri-
odic lubrication are the spindle bearings. The fre-
quency of lubrication depends on the amount you
use the overarm router. As a habit, inspect the
machine at least once a month. To lubricate the
spindle cartridge:
1. Turn the grease cup one turn after every four
to six weeks of working use. See Figure 28.
2. Keep the grease cup filled with NO. 2 grease.
