Installation Checklist and Quick Start Guide
9 Insert the USB storage device into the USB port of the computer.
10 Copy the Startup Profile (.sps file) to the root directory of the USB storage device.
11 If you want to load your keycode using the Startup Profile, copy the keycode file to the root
directory of the USB storage device.
The name of the keycode file on the USB storage device must exactly match the filename you
entered in the Startup Profile editor.
12 Remove the USB storage device from the USB port of the computer.
The Startup Profile is now stored on the USB storage device.
13 Insert the USB storage device into the USB port of the BCM50 main unit before you power up
the system.

DHCP server configuration
Use the following procedure to disable the DHCP server on the BCM50a, BCM50e, BCM50ba,
and BCM50be main units.
To disable the DHCP server on the BCM50a, BCM50e, BCM50ba,
and BCM50be main units
1 Open Element Manager and connect to your system.
2 From the Configuration tab, click the Data Services folder to expand it.
3 Select DHCP Server from the Data Services folder.
4 From the General Settings tab, click Launch Router WebGUI tool to launch the router
configuration tool.

for your product.
Warning: Do not use the Startup Profile on a functional BCM50 system because
the parameter values in the Startup Profile replace those on the system.
