Head-up display. An optical system of mirrors projects driving-related information directly into the driver’s field of vision.
To prevent ghost images, a special windscreen with a wedge-shaped film is fitted. Measuring approx. 26 x 9cm in size,
the driver perceives the display to be 2 to 2.5m beyond the windscreen. This display has many benefits:

Mobile telephone preparation – High with online services. A Bluetooth-capable mobile phone can be conveniently connected
to the vehicle's internal UMTS module (provided the mobile telephone has a SIM Access Profile. Please note iPhones do not
have SIM access profile and therefore a duplicate SIM card would need to be sourced from your network provider and inserted
directly into dashboard of the A7). An additional SIM card reader is also located in the surround of the MMI Navigation Plus
to allow transfer of phone book entries to the vehicle and management of call lists. Online services through operation of MMI
Navigation Plus include:
- Point of interest search and navigation with the help of Google Earth images
- Weather information
- WiFi hotspots for convenient internet access using a mobile end device (e.g. laptop)*. Up to eight end devices can be paired
