Ophthalmoscope Lens Instructions
To move through the range on the plus (+) side:
Rotate lens selection dial clockwise. At +6 diopters
move lens dial clockwise again. Then move multiplier
lever to “+” position. Continue moving lens dial in
same clockwise direction to access +7 through +22
diopters. To move through the range on the nega-
tive (-) side: Rotate lens selection dial counterclock-
wise. At -9 diopters move lens dial counterclockwise
again. Then move multiplier lever to “ - ” position.
Continue moving lens dial in same counterclockwise
direction to access -10 to -25 diopters.
