Rinse aid
Rinse aid ensures that your dishes gleam and are
free from spots, and that your glasses are clear.
Rinse aid can be added in one of two
ways:
• If you are using dishwasher detergent that already
contains rinse aid, the detergent including the
rinse aid is put into the detergent compartment.
– In this case the mode which dispenses rinse
aid from the supply container must be deacti-
vated to avoid a double dosage.
• If you are using dishwasher detergent and rinse
aid separately, the rinse aid is to be put into the
rinse aid supply container.
– In this case the mode which dispenses rinse
aid from the supply container must be acti-
vated.
– The amount of rinse aid to be dispensed must
be set.

Use only branded rinse aid for dishwashers.
Never fill the rinse aid container with any
other substance (e.g. concentrated vinegar)
or dishwasher detergent. This would damage
the appliance.

Some appliances are equipped with an addi-
tional 3in1 function.
If you are using 3-in-1 dishwashing tablets
and select the 3in1 function together with
the wash programme, the inflow of rinse aid
does not have to be deactivated (see “3in1
function”).
1. Press the ON/OFF button.
The ON/OFF button’s LED will illuminate.

If other indicators are also illuminated, this
means that a wash programme has been
activated. The wash programme must be

The
L display will indicate the current setting:
4. Pressing function button 2 activates and deacti-
vates the rinse aid dispensing function.
5. If the rinse aid dispensing function has been cor-
rectly set, press the ON/OFF switch.
