Setting Up the LaserWriter 8500
1 Open the multipurpose tray and then the printer top cover.
If you’re replacing a toner cartridge, remove the old cartridge.
To remove an old cartridge, grasp the orange handles on the cartridge and pull
toward you.
2Take the cartridge out of its packaging.
3Distribute the toner powder by gently rocking the cartridge back and forth.
