Handset in the front for car phone
for making private phone calls; easy writing of text
messages thanks to automatic word recognition.
Cordless handset with colour display and integrated
SIM card reader housed in the front centre armrest

a further cordless handset with colour display and
integrated SIM card reader is provided. Located

Bluetooth interface
enables hands-free calls in the vehicle via the micro-
phone and Bluetooth audio streaming¹ (depending on
mobile phone compatibility). Bluetooth-capable
mobile phones can be connected to the vehicle via the
interface which is part of the MMI navigation plus

Digital TV reception
reception of digitally broadcast (DVB-T), uncoded
television stations² (MPEG-2 or MPEG-4 standard),
DVB-T audio stations, teletext and Electronic
Programme Guide (EPG). External AV-IN connection
via adapter cable (available through Audi Genuine
Accessories). No picture possible when the vehicle is

Audi music interface
enables the use of portable media players³, such as
an Apple iPod, Apple iPhone (music functionality) and
USB storage media and MP3 players, by means of
special adapter cables from Audi Genuine Accessories.
Located in the centre console. Operated via MMI or a
multifunction leather steering wheel. Part of MMI
navigation plus with MMI touch
Bose surround sound
impressive surround sound reproduction thanks to
12-channel amplifier with total output of over
600 watts and 14 loudspeakers, including centre
speaker and subwoofer. AudioPilot® for noise-
dependent volume adjustment. 5.1 surround sound
reproduction. Powerful and accurate bass reproduction
thanks to Acoustic Wave loudspeaker technology
Audi sound system
6-channel amplifier with a total output of 180 watts
and 10 loudspeakers, including centre speaker in the
dashboard and subwoofer in the rear parcel shelf
Bang & Olufsen Advanced Sound System
captivating surround sound reproduction with
19 loudspeakers, including subwoofer, each with
its own amplifier channel. The highly efficient all-
digital 5-channel ICE Power amplifier for woofer
and subwoofer and the 14-channel DSP all-digital
amplifier have a total output of over 1,400 watts
and are capable of reproducing 5.1 Surround Sound.
Polished loudspeaker covers in aluminium and
automatically extending acoustic lenses for excellent
sound performance and perspective in any seat.
Noise-dependent volume adjustment. Privacy function
provided by encapsulated loudspeaker casings which
minimise the escape of sound to the outside of the
vehicle and provide privacy, for example when making
telephone calls.
DVD/CD changer
supports e.g. audio CDs, video DVDs, MP3, WMA, AAC,
MPEG-4 and playlists as well as up to 4,000 tracks per
medium. 6 DVDs or CDs can be changed individually.
Files with digital rights management (DRM) cannot be
played. Shock-resistant location in glove compartment.
