Connecting the Drive and Getting Started

Connecting the Drive
To connect the My Passport Studio drive to your Mac computer:
1. Turn on your computer.
2. Connect the My Passport drive using either the USB micro cable or the FireWire 800
cable as shown in Figure 3.
3. Verify that the My Passport icon displays on your desktop:
