Using the Application Recovery Utility
The Application Recovery Utility, located on the System Recovery DVD, enables you to reinstall individual programs and
device drivers, and to repair programs.
To use the Application Recovery Utility
1.
Make sure the computer is on and the Microsoft
®
Windows
®
operating system is running.
2.
Place the System Recovery DVD (No.1) onto the drive tray and gently close it.
The VAIO Application Recovery Wizard appears.
3.
Click to select the check box next to the name of the application(s) which you want to reinstall.
4.
Click Next.
The application reinstalls on the system.
5.
When the application recovery is completed, restart your computer by following these steps:
1.
From the Start menu, click Shut Down.
The Shut Down Windows window appears.
2.
Select Restart from the drop-down menu, and then click OK.
