DMX-SW1 Supplement:
Setting up your BRAVIA Input Link
Perform this setup when:
You connect your BRAVIA Input Link for the fi rst time
If the power is lost or disconnected from your TV or BRAVIA Input Link
You connect new equipment or switch HDMI inputs on the BRAVIA
Input Link
You move the BRAVIA Input Link to a different HDMI IN on the TV

Before Beginning
Power on all HDMI equipment.
Power on the TV.
Connect the BRAVIA Input Link’s HDMI OUT to any of the TV’s HDMI IN using
the supplied HDMI cable.
Connect all HDMI equipment to the BRAVIA Input Link.
Connect AC Adapter with AC cord from wall to the DC IN on the BRAVIA Input
Link.
Wait 90 seconds for the BRAVIA Input Link and all equipment to connect with
the TV.
Initial Setup
Before beginning these steps, make sure that Control for HDMI is enabled on
your TV. See your TV’s Operating Instructions for more details.
Repeat steps 1-3 below for all connected equipment
Press HOME/MENU on the TV’s remote control.
Press B/b/V/v to navigate to the External Inputs menu. (As shown in fi gures
1 and 2)
Highlight and select the equipment with the Input Link label from the list
(ex: Select Input Link 1 for a device connected to HDMI IN 1).

When connecting new equipment only perform Steps 1-3 for that device
Completing Initial Setup
Update the Control for HDMI list to complete the setup.
TV with XMB
™
Press HOME on the remote control and
select HDMI Settings from the Settings
Menu.
Select Device List.
Press to Enable or Update the device
list and exit the menu.
Once the list is updated, the “Input Link” label will be removed for equipment that
support Control for HDMI and only the pre-assigned labels are displayed (e.g.
DVD, BD, etc).

TV with Panel Menu
Press MENU on the remote control and
select Setup.
Highlight Update Control for HDMI List,
select OK and exit the menu.
