• Swingthereflector(41) upwards.
• Carefullypullouttheoldflashbulb(43) straight
to the right, do not twist it. If the flash bulb
cannot be pulled out easily, gently rock it back
and forth to get it unseated from the socket.
• Makesurethecontactspring(44) is removed
from the priming wire (45) of the lamp.

• Openthelid(4, Fig. 2) to gain access to the
reflector.
• Removescrew(49) (use screwdriver supplied
as part of tool set). Mind the washer (42).

Switch the instrument off and unplug it
from power supply.
Allow the flash tube to cool before re-
moving it. Do not handle the flash tube
with bare hands. Use a glove or tissue.
Caution!
To insert/remove, hold the flash
bulb as shown in Fig. 17 (right).
Do not take hold of the sides of
the flash bulb or compress it as
shown in Fig. 16.
