GENERAL
Scope of Work
Supply all labor, material, and equipment necessary for a complete installation of kitchen
appliances as shown on the drawings and herein specified.
Related Sections
A. Documents affecting work of this section include, but are not necessarily limited to,
General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, and Sections in Division 1 of these
Specifications.
B. Finish Cabinetry – Refer to Section 06255
C. Electrical – Refer to Division 16
D. Plumbing – Refer to Division 15.
Warranty
All labor and material under this section shall carry a one (1) year warranty/guarantee period
unless otherwise specified under this section. See Section 01750 for information regarding
warranties/guarantees.
Submittals
A. Provide submittals in conformance with Section 01340.
B. Provide cut sheets of all appliances proposed for the Project and their respective
locations within the Project. Include available color charts indicating available colors for
all finishes, accessories, and trim.
C. Closeout Submittals:
1. Provide operation and maintenance data for all appliances.
2. Submit manufacturer’s One (1) year written warranty from the date of substantial
completion of all appliances.
MATERIALS
Acceptable Manufacturers
A. Unless specifically approved otherwise by the Owner, Whirlpool, Frigidaire, Kenmore or
KitchenAide appliances as specified below shall be provided for this Project.
Dwelling Unit Appliances
A. Standard Refrigerator with Icemaker:
1. Locations: All Dwelling Units EXCEPT for ANSI A units noted below.
2. Product: 18.2 C.F., frost free, texture steel door, on adjustable rollers, factory
installed icemaker; Whirlpool # W8TXEWFVB (ES) (Black finish), with ECKMF94
Ice Maker Kit.
