Parameter Description
Enable PPTP Server Click to enable the operation of a virtual private
network (VPN) over the Internet.
Server IP Address Specify the IP address PPTP clients communicate
with. Note: The Server IP Address can be different
from the LAN IP or WAN IP.
Client IP Pool Specify the IP address for PPTP clients to use.
Authentication Select “PAP,” “CHAP” or “MSCHAP.”
Encryption When you choose “MSCHAP” for Authentication, you
can use “MPPE” (Microsoft's Point-to-Point
Encryption) to encrypt the PPTP connection.
VPN Users Enter up to 10 usernames and passwords for the
L2TP / PPTP clients.
Click “Apply” at the bottom of the screen to save the above configurations.
