14.9 Registration
The handset battery must be fully charged before you start to register. Hold your handset
close to the base during the registration process. Handsets that were supplied with your
IT.6 base are already registered.
14.9.1 Manually register an additional handset
On the handset:
1. Press

and press
OK
.

Register Handset
is highlighted. Press
OK
.
4. The display shows
Press base Find key for 5s
.
5. On the underside of the base, press and hold
f for 5 seconds.
6. Enter the system PIN and press
OK
.
7. The base station will automatically assign the handset number.
8. When registration is successful you hear a conrmation beep.
NOTE
If registration is not successful the rst time, please repeat the process again in case the
base registration period ran out of time. If the base is not found after a few seconds, the
handset returns to standby. Try registering again.
If there are already 5 handsets registered to the base, registration will fail. You must de-
register a handset before you can register a new one.
14.9.2 De-register a handset
Use one handset to de-register another. You cannot de-register the handset that you are
using.

Unregister

.
4. Enter the System PIN and press
OK
. (default setting = 0000)
5. Scroll to the handset you want to de-register and press
