CD/DVD Drive



Removing a CD/DVD Drive



1. Follow the procedures in "Before You Begin."



2. Remove the drive panel.



3. Disconnect the power and data cables from the back of the drive.



4. Grasp the sliding plate lever and push it towards the base of the computer; then, hold it in place while you slide the CD/DVD drive from the computer.

NOTICE: To connect a network cable, first plug the cable into the network device and then plug the cable into the computer.
