Using 3in1 detergents
These products are detergents with a combined cleaning, rinsing and
salt function.
When the 3in1 function is activated,
– the addition of special salt and rinse aid from the respective dispenser
is prevented.
– If the salt and rinse aid dispensers are empty, this is not indicated.
– The dishwashing cycles can be up to 30 minutes longer.
3 If you want to use 3in1 detergents, check whether these detergents are
suitable for your water hardness. (Follow the manufacturer’s instruc-
tions.)
If you want to use 3in1 products
1. Press the ON/OFF button.
3 If the LED indicator of only one programme button is illuminated, this
wash programme has been activated. The wash programme must be
deselected:
Press function buttons 2 and 3 simultaneously for approx. 2 seconds.
The LED indicators of all the programme buttons that can be selected
will illuminate.
2. Press function buttons 2 and 3 simultaneously and hold them down.
The LED indicators for function buttons 1 to 4 will flash.
3. Press function button 4.
The 3IN1 / 4 IN 1 indicator indicates the current setting:
4. Pressing function button 4 changes the setting.
5. If the 3IN1 / 4 IN 1 indicator is indicating the desired setting, press
the ON/OFF button. The setting is now saved.
Before the start of the dishwashing cycle put 3in1 detergent in the de-
tergent dispenser.
3 As the rinse aid inflow is automatically switched off when the 3in1
function is activated, it may come about because of the different qual-
ity standards in the 3in1 detergent, that the dishes do not dry suffi-
ciently.
If this happens, proceed as follows (see section “Adding rinse aid”):
• Fill up the dispenser (if this is empty) with rinse aid.

Indicator 3IN1 / 4 IN 1 is not lit
3 in 1 function not activated
