To select a Margin setting

Position the document to be copied.
– For details on positioning the document, refer to
“Feeding the document” on page 1-14.

In the Basic screen, touch [Combine Originals].
The Combine Originals screen appears.
Auto Select this setting to automatically select the
position of the binding margin.
If the document length is 11-11/16 in. or less, a
binding position along the long side of the paper is
selected.
If the document length is more than 11-11/16 in., a
binding position along the short side of the paper is
selected.
